As the Group Marketing Manager, you will shape the marketing, communications, and brand operations for the group and its subsidiaries.


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Spearhead marketing activities for the group, aligning with business goals and developing comprehensive 360 marketing strategies.
Innovative Planning:
  • Craft and deploy marketing plans to enhance product and brand desirability, applying a commercial, data-driven mindset to tactical decisions.
Resource Mobilization:
  • Maximize budgets to achieve marketing KPIs, routinely leveraging available resources for effective marketing activities.
Brand Focus:
  • Establish a cohesive brand focus across the business portfolio, including brand positioning, strategy, planning, and purpose.
Business Expansion:
  • Apply strong business acumen and negotiation skills to identify new opportunities, foster brand partnerships, and explore collaborative ventures.
Visual Identity:
  • Develop and maintain visual branded identities, ensuring alignment with business goals, and conduct market research for a competitive advantage.

Detailed Job Description:

  • Brand Guardian: Ensure consistent application of brand voice, identity, and image through effective management of graphic designers, writers, and third-party suppliers.
  • Campaign Leadership: Take the lead on campaign creative, from concept to deployment, emphasizing attention to detail and timely delivery.
  • Digital Innovation: Drive the Company's E-commerce strategy and develop platforms to support online and in-store sales, emphasizing digital acquisition through various channels.

  • Customer Engagement: Develop and manage customer retention programs, maintain relationships with press and stakeholders, and achieve positive media coverage.

  • Team Leadership: Promote a positive team spirit, lead by example, and foster a 'can-do' attitude within the marketing team.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with various stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, suppliers, and partner organizations.

  • Retail Activation: Coordinate with the Head of Retail Operations and store managers for correct implementation of retail marketing activities in-store.

  • Employee Engagement: Lead internal and employee-facing marketing communications initiatives, acting as the group brand champion.

  • Performance Reporting: Regularly report on campaign activity, including Google Analytics reports, marketing decks, and quarterly reports.

  • Team Development: Train and develop the marketing team members for business continuity and career growth.

The ideal candidate for the Group Marketing Manager position should possess the following qualifications and experience:
  • Retail marketing background in luxury fashion industry
  • Strong understanding of market trends and consumer behavior
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing retail-focused marketing strategies that drive brand desirability and engagement
  • Experience in crafting and deploying innovative marketing plans to enhance product and brand desirability
  • Ability to make data-driven tactical decisions to achieve marketing objectives
  • Experience in Digital Marketing and brand management
  • Team Leadership, demonstrated success in leading and inspiring a marketing team by setting an example and fostering a 'can-do' attitude
  • Experience in effectively liaising with various stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, suppliers, and partner organizations
  • Experience in coordinating with Retail Operations and store managers for the correct implementation of retail marketing activities in-store
  • Experience in driving E-commerce strategy and developing platforms to support online and in-store sales
